As a child of the 1970s and ’80s, I was endlessly fascinated by those little star scrolls sold at grocery store checkout aisles—that’s where it all began. I’ve loved astrology for as long as I can remember, though it never occurred to me that I could one day become an astrologer myself.
In my late twenties, after a painful breakup, I sought guidance from a local astrologer. She was unprepared and unhelpful—and I left realizing I could do better. That experience sparked a lifelong journey of discovery into how the Universe conspires to support our growth.
Today, I’m an Evolutionary Astrologer trained by the renowned author and astrologer Steven Forrest for over twenty years, earning his Master Level Apprenticeship Certification.
In the 2000s, I served as the resident astrologer for Parents Magazine, Pregnancy & Newborn, and Working Mother. My work has also been featured on The Today Show, OPA’s Evolving Astrologer Magazine, The Bump, Yogi Times, People.com, and Astrology.com, where I wrote a regular column on parenthood and relationship astrology.
Alongside astrology, I’ve built a thriving 25-year career in public relations. I live in Northern California with my husband, teenage son, three cats, and more chickens than I care to admit. I’m also the host of the Organization of Professional Astrology (OPA) Mercury Hour, a speaker at OPA events, a graduate of the Center for Relationships and Astrology Level III Certification, and, most recently, completed a mentorship with astrologer Anne Ortelee.
